What is "the Layout" of your Website?
The layout defines the look and position of the elements on your
website, e.g. style of navigation, composition of the content area,
colours of single elements, etc.
How to select a layout:
- Under "File" menu choose the command "Select
layout...".
- Choose from the listed layouts the favoured one and click on
"OK".
Websites built with Zeta Producer Desktop do not all look the
same, because the opportunity to adjust it individually to one's
own liking or corporate design is provided.
How to adjust layouts:
- Under "File" menu choose the command "Select layout...".
- Select your favoured layout.
- Click on "Layout options" and choose "Create copy of
layout".
Please note: Only copied layouts can be adjusted
indiviually.
- Double click on the copied layout.
- Then in the Zeta Producer Desktop designer you can adapt
the single elements of the catagories.
Please note: After adjustment the website has to be generated
anew. To avoid that the internal preview creates every page
individually when swichted inbetween choose under menu "Preview"
the command "Generate Website (simple)...". This generates all
pages straight.
